This course is designed for people working or wishing to work in a human or animal health or science related profession as practitioner, educator or researcher.  In Biochemistry III you have the opportunity to learn more about the metabolic processes in an organism that sustain its life. This course focuses on the major metabolic pathways, as well as cellular transport, electron transfer and energy production.  

What will you achieve from this course?

After completing Biochemistry Animal Processes (III) you will understand the transport mechanism of bio-chemicals through animal membranes, the metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids and amino acids, as well as biochemical nucleotide metabolism.  You will have knowledge of enzyme reactions and catalysis in biochemistry and much more!
