A sound foundation course, Pig Management develops a broad understanding of pig biology and production; covering such things as breeding and selection, feeding, diseases, boar management, managing the sow and litter, fattening pigs, record keeping and more!

After completing Pig Management you will have the knowledge necessary to effectively breed pigs, select individual animals, manage feeding and health as well as plan the physical facilities including buildings and equipment of a pig farm.
