This course will develop your ability to carry out the various tasks associated with managing personnel, such as recruitment, training and controlling. Emphasis is placed on knowledge and methods that will improve workplace morale and productivity.
What will you achieve from this course?
After completing Personnel Management you will have an understanding of how perception, learning and prior experience influence human behaviour and the factors that contribute to overall workplace conditions. You will have knowledge of essential processes in the recruitment and induction of employees, the key elements of planning and conducting effective staff training and how team processes can be used to improve performance and productivity. You will also understand the importance of monitoring workplace processes and performance, and how to report your observations.
