This course is ideal for a person with limited knowledge of MYOB, seeking to become familiar with the basics of the application. At the conclusion of this course participants should be able to understand the basics of the software package with the capacity to apply this knowledge in their personal and professional lives.
Course Pre-requisites
Participants should be familiar with working in a Windows environment.

- Introduction to basic accounting terminology
- Navigate within MYOB Accounting
- Create a new data file for your business
- Setting up tax codes
- Setting up a list of accounts
- Create information cards for customer, supplier and employee records
- Setting up inventory and service items
- Enter opening balances and bring existing accounts into MYOB
- Back-up and restore data files
