The Certificate III in Disability will teach you many facets of disability support and care. You will learn how to work effectively with people living with disabilities and meet their particular needs, and deliver disability care services that support and enhance the independence of people with disabilities. This disability training course will provide you with the tools to accurately respond to difficult or challenging situations in the health care industry. Additionally, you will learn how to: support individual health and emotional wellbeing, support people with disabilities who are ageing, provide support to meet personal care needs and work effectively in the community.

Assessment

Assessment is comprised of written tasks, practical demonstrations and 3rd party observations.

How to gain your qualification faster

RPL is offered to any Learner who can provide evidence of competency for the units offered within the qualification. Learners simply complete an enrolment form indicating they would like to apply for full/partial RPL. Once enrolment is confirmed the trainer calls the Learner to goes through all potential RPL opportunities, before sending through an RPL pack to help with evidence collection. In this way the RPL process is seamless and simple.

How long does the course take?

You, the student, are completely in control of your own learning schedule. Learning online allows you the freedom to study at home, during your lunch break or from anywhere in the world.
