Designed for the new farmer or those aiming towards employment in this field, this course will give you the knowledge and skills required to run or work confidently on a specialised or mixed farm. To obtain this certificate you must satisfactorily complete all set tasks and assessments of three (3) core modules and three (3) electives.  Modules are short courses in their own right.

What will you achieve from this course?

Through completion of the Certificate in Agriculture’s core units you will understand all the basics needed for general animal health, farm management and all important marketing skills.  Depending on your choice of electives, you may have specialised knowledge in areas such as soil and pasture management or management of a particular farm animal.
