It builds your knowledge of varieties available so you will be able to have a long lasting display of colour in the garden. What will you achieve from this course?

After completing Azaleas and Rhododendrons you will understand the general cultural requirements that are common to all Rhododendron species, as well as know which materials to select for propagation.  You will be able to propagate Azaleas and Rhododendrons yourself and know how to help them to thrive over a long lifespan.

•     Culture - Planting, staking, mulching, watering, pest and disease, feeding, pruning, protection from wind, salt, air etc
•     Propagation - Propagation of selected varieties
•     The Most Commonly Grown Varieties
•     Other Important Groups
•     Lesser Grown Varieties
•     Making the Best Use of Your Plants- In containers, in the ground, as indoor plants, growing and showing, growing for profit
•     Special Assignment - A study of one selected plant or group
