Notable designed landscapes of important heritage value occur in the city, in towns and in the countryside. This course is designed to teach you appropriate management strategies to ensure the long term survival of plants and garden features. It covers sources of funding and associated issues as well as issues concerned with the presentation of a site to visitors.
What will you achieve from this course?
After completing Managing Notable Gardens you will have the knowledge necessary to develop strategies for creating new features within existing landscapes and manage wear and tear on historic gardens and designed landscapes. You will be able to determine labour skill set requirements for staff and understand the role of public funding.
