True Proteas come from Africa. Many produce spectacular flowers, with great commercial value as garden shrubs or a cut flower crop. This course teaches you where and how to grow one of the most stunning groups of plants in the world. With the right cultural techniques you can achieve top quality, large blooms in what might otherwise be considered poor horticultural conditions.
What will you achieve from this course?
After completing Proteas you will have knowledge of their taxonomy, cultural requirements, propagation techniques and most commonly grown species. You will be better able to manage problems including pests and diseases with Proteas as well as the different ways to grow and use them.
