Course info
This course is one of a new generation of certificates being launched by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) UK to replace older qualifications. It covers the plant kingdom, plant nutrition, pests, diseases and weeds and sexual and asexual propagation.
To obtain the certificate you must sit and pass written exams conducted under supervision and assessed by the RHS. Exams can be arranged to be sat anywhere in the world and are offered twice annually. A separate fee for exams is set by, and must be paid to, the RHS.
What will you achieve from this course?
After completing this certificate you will have knowledge of the classification, internal and external structure and reproductive functions of plants. You will understand the pollination and fertilisation processes as well as that of photosynthesis, respiration, water movement and growth – plus more!
