This course is designed to teach you to manage energy levels in people in sport, exercise, work or general day to day living. It covers how to increase people's energy levels and maintain them in different situations and how to recognise when rest is the perfect recovery tool. Suggested prior learning: Basic understanding of body systems, or completion of an appropriate course such as Human Anatomy and Physiology.
What will you achieve from this course?
After completing Human Biology Bioenergetics (IB) you will understand how energy is used in the human body to create work and power as well as work and recovery and the significance of the acid-base balance in the body. You will have knowledge of the movement of materials in and out of living cells, the affect of changing atmospheric pressure on the body and more!
