What will you achieve from this course?
After completing Psychopharmacology you will have an understanding of the effects of numerous drugs on the individual and patterns of drug-taking behaviour. You will have knowledge of social, psychological and physical consequences of drug-taking on the individual as well as the origins and changes in drug use in society.

- Legal drugs: Tobacco, caffeine and solvents
- Prescription and over-the-counter drugs
- Sedatives and anti-anxiety drugs
- Prescription drugs for schizophrenia and affective disorders
- Treatment and preventative education

This course is able to be completed either online or by correspondence.
