Short Course info
For staff applying for supervisory and/or management positions (responsible persons) within South Australia, the OLGC (Office of the Liquor & Gambling Commissioner) may deem it mandatory for you to complete this nationally accredited unit of competency.
All servers of liquor on licensed premises are also strongly advised to ensure they have the relevant skills and knowledge and are recommended to complete an approved training course in the responsible service of alcohol; however, it is not currently mandatory.

What will you achieve from this course?
The information provided in the course will help you understand the role of your employers in complying with the legislation and your role and responsibilities when serving drinks containing alcohol to patrons.
