Short Course info
For staff occupying supervisory positions at licensed premises it is mandatory to complete the nationally accredited unit of competency Provide responsible service of alcohol (SITHFAB009A, THHBFB09A or THHBFB09B).
All servers of liquor on licensed premises must also complete an approved training course in the responsible service of alcohol, however, these staff may choose to undertake the non-accredited version of the course or undertake the nationally accredited unit of competency referred to above. Bar staff are strongly encouraged by WA Liquor Licensing to undertake the nationally accredited unit.
