Publishers continually need to consider: “What to publish?” From text books to romance novels, magazines to music scores, there is a huge range of options for a publishing enterprise. This course is ideally suited as a follow on from Publishing (I) and (II) and covers topics such as planning, costing and risk management related to new publications.
What will you achieve from this course?
After completing Publishing Advanced you will understand the important considerations that effect the decision of what to publish. You will also be better able to plan for developing and producing a new publication. You will have knowledge of how to manage financial requirements for the production of a new publication as well as have insight into the potential risks in a publishing business including legal, financial and health risks.
