Some publishing businesses are small with multi-skilled staff. Most medium to large publishing businesses, however, employ a team of people, each with a well-defined role. This course provides a foundation for starting your own publishing business; or for working in the publishing industry.
What will you achieve from this course?
After completing Publishing Foundations you will understand the nature of publishing today and the processes that are commonly used to perform work tasks. You will have knowledge of viable processes to follow for desktop publishing of a small publication for printing or in an electronic format and you will understand marketing strategies appropriate to the needs of a publication.
