Why do psychopaths exist? Why do people commit crimes? How do we know what “crime” is when it changes over time and from society to society. This course provides a fascinating insight into the mind of the criminal and the work of the criminal psychologist. This course would be beneficial for Legal Secretaries, Welfare Officers, Youth Workers, and any other support service staff who may be working with dysfunctional people.
What will you achieve from this course?
After completing Criminal Psychology you will have an understanding of psychological theories and approaches to understanding crime as well as the relationship between a person having a learning disability and committing crime. You will have knowledge of theories relating to psychopaths, gender differences associated with crime and how psychology is used in the court room and by police.
