Life coaching is a process that begins with identification of a need for change and takes the client through the micro-processes of planning, achieving and evaluating change to fulfil established goals. This course will teach you how to go about helping clients through the life changing process.
What will you achieve from this course?
After completing Life Coaching you will understand the differences between Life Coaching and other professions such as psychotherapy or counselling. You will know what defines a well-rounded individual and well-rounded life and have the knowledge necessary to enable clients to develop aims, plans and goals. You will also understand the many different coaching skills including listening, analysing, focusing and more!
Lessons:
- Introduction - nature of life coaching, cognitive behaviour therap, approaches etc.
- Individual Perception - psychology of self-perception, perceptual barriers etc.
- A Well Balanced Life - the inter-relationship between psychology and physiology etc.
- Coaching Processes - assessment of the client's situation, setting goals etc.
- Coaching Skills – body language, listening skills, communication barriers etc.
- Coaching and physical well-being – human nutrition, physical well-being etc.
- Coaching - the psychology of self-esteem, stress management programmes etc.
- Coaching Success - high achievement, managing your money, beginning a business etc.
- Goal Setting – values, aims and types of goals, effort and attribution etc.
- Review and Adjustment - client's lack of confidence, over-achievers, personality clash etc.
Course Delivery
This course is able to be completed either online or by correspondence.
