This course relates to the management and maintenance of both indoor and outdoor facilities and equipment, including swimming pools, locker rooms, buildings, gymnasiums, and sports turf. It develops a manger’s ability to participate effectively as part of a design team for major works, or to plan and direct contractors in the development of minor facilities.
What will you achieve from this course?
After completing Leisure Facility Management Intermediate (II) you will have the knowledge necessary to manage the condition of recreational water facilities, sports turf facilities and gymnasiums. You will understand the design factors for recreation facilities both indoor and outdoor, as well as be better able to develop a management strategy for the construction of a recreation facility.
