Ecotourism has emerged out of a growing interest in outdoor adventure activities - from mountaineering to low impact bushwalking.  Establishing such an enterprise requires an understanding of a wide range of issues including: legal considerations, safety, accommodations, the tour desk as a first point of contact, destinations, and management. This course develops your ability to establish and operate an ecotourism enterprise.

What will you achieve from this course?

After completing Ecotour Management you will understand management issues related to ecotourism activities/enterprises and the environmental and ethical concerns.  You will have knowledge of how to manage camp sites, cabins, caravans and resort as well as know the catering options for different ecotourism activities.  You will be better able to establish safety procedures and plan for activities.
